The next major Android 15 update for Pixel devices is not expected to land until the end of this quarter. Based on previous rollouts, it would seem that Google will be rolling out planned changes via a new Feature Drop, details of which it is unlikely to reveal ahead of schedule.
In the meantime, Google has started rolling out AP4A.250205.002 with the February 2025 security patch. Available across all currently supported Pixel devices, including large screen options like Pixel Tablet (curr. $369 on Amazon), AP4A.250205.002 should resolve two dozen Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) in its own right, full details of which can be found in Google's latest Pixel Update Bulletin.
This month's update also bundles a few device-specific bug fixes. On the one hand, AP4A.250205.002 should resolve an issue on the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold where certain Bluetooth accessories or devices would refuse to connect. Unfortunately, Google has not shared any further guidance in this regard. On the other hand, Google stresses that the same update should fix audio output issues in Android Auto for all Pixel devices from the Pixel 6 onwards. Please see Google's forum post for more details.
