Garmin has delivered a new update to many of its flagship smartwatches. Available on the company's Beta Program, Beta Version 20.11 is said to fix two frustrating bugs while also adding a new Calculator app feature.

Hardly any time has passed since Garmin issued a new beta update for the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Tactix 8 (curr. $1,299 on Amazon). To recap, the company released Beta Version 20.10 two days ago as the second Beta 20.xx so far after rolling out System Software 17.30 almost a month earlier.

As we discussed at the time, previous beta cycles indicated that Garmin would deliver many more builds to beta testers before finalising v20.xx development for stable software users. With that in mind, the company is now moving Beta Program participants onto Beta Version 20.11. At this stage, one must install the new beta manually through their eligible smartwatch themselves by navigating through the following menus:

Menu -> System -> Software Update -> Check For Updates.

Once Beta Version 20.11 is installed, Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8 and Tactix 8 should no longer experience an issue where the month and date were not being properly translated on stock watch faces. Additionally, Beta Version 20.11 is said to resolve an issue that could cause vibration and tone settings to be missing on devices without a speaker. On top of that, the new beta adds Hot Key Support for Garmin's Calculator app.
