Following an official teaser from Tag Heuer, the Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E5 is now official. The smartwatch has just been launched in various model variants, specifically as 40- and 45-millimeter models, but also in different colors and there are also differences in the choice of materials. The watch can be ordered with stainless steel or titanium as the material for the watch body. There are also limited and News Balance editions. The stainless steel version is available for an entry-level price of €1,550. If customers choose the 45-millimeter version instead of the 40-millimeter version, the price increases by €100. The Golf special edition sells for €2,400.

At its core, it's a relatively typical smartwatch, equipped with optical sensors for measuring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, among other things. Sleep monitoring, a standard feature of modern wearables, will be added later. Further features include an altimeter, a GNSS module, a microphone and a speaker. The 45mm model is equipped with a 1.39-inch display with a resolution of 454 x 454 and is based on OLED technology, so it features self-illuminating pixels. Tag Heuer installs the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 5100+ SoC, a somewhat already outdated processor. More details can be found here.
