Garmin smartwatches receive a new software update
Garmin is rolling out a new update for already well-equipped wearables. The update is designed to address various issues and enhance the overall user experience.

Garmin is rolling out a new software update for several smartwatches, including the Fenix 8 Pro (available on Amazon) and the Fenix 8 MicroLED. The update, version 21.41, is a stable release rather than a beta and is being distributed in phases. According to Garmin, it has already reached at least 50 percent of eligible devices, with a broader rollout still ongoing.

The official changelog remains vague, mentioning only general improvements and bug fixes without specifying individual issues. Community feedback in the Garmin forums provides little additional clarity, although there have been isolated reports of problems in the previous version 21.39. Some users experienced crashes when attempting to open notifications from the notification list.

However, these reports appear to be limited to individual cases rather than a widespread issue. The previous stable update (version 21.39) focused exclusively on bug fixes and did not introduce any new features.
