Fun Nintendo Switch 2 unofficial concept render imagines the console in regular and Max forms
There have already been a few attempts by fans to design what the Nintendo Switch 2 or next-generation Nintendo console could look like, with one interesting effort appearing as a foldable concept. Now a new unofficial Switch 2 design has turned up, briefly being exhibited on Reddit before being removed. This particular image (see below) not only features a mockup of a Switch 2, it also includes a Nintendo Switch 2 Max concept.
Of course, it is fake and there is no attempt here to suggest this is some kind of genuine Switch 2 box leak. For instance, zooming in on the model names reveals quite a lot of distortion around the words and logo, the side panel images have skewed perspectives, and there is simply no way Nintendo would place a “2”, if the NG Switch ends up being called the Switch 2, in such a manner that it is barely visible (the identifier "Max" is even smaller). The Big N would want to make sure buyers were fully aware it was a Switch successor in their hands.
Still, it is fun to look over the render, which appears to have been created with some Italian influence (“giochi” – games; “completato” – completed), and marvel over the reworked Joy-Con controller that seems to have a sliding mechanism here. It’s also worth pointing out that the creator considers there may be a Switch 2 Max device, and it could be argued that Nintendo will likely deliver more than one SKU of its next-generation console, whether it be Lite or Max (OLED is likely to be standard across the board), for its keenly awaited launch.
