Final has unveiled the UX5000 over-ear wireless headphones designed for high-resolution music enthusiasts who desire detailed, rich sound reproduction over Bluetooth 5.4 and wired connections. They have been tuned to clearly reproduce fine sonic details with a soulful resonance.
The headphones use 40 mm drivers with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz. They use a Qualcomm QCC3095 SoC to support Sony LDAC and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive HQ audio codecs and hybrid noise cancellation that uses feedforward and feedback microphones. Wearers do not need to remove the headphones to hear announcements and nearby speakers thanks to an ambient sound mode. The smartphone app can be used to tune the headphone settings, including a 10-band equalizer.
The headphones have a runtime of up to 45 hours with ANC on and recharge in two hours, according to Final. The battery can be replaced by the company. They weigh 310 grams (10.9 oz.) with their magnetically-mounted memory foam ear pads and detachable headband, both of which are user-replaceable. The ear cups are mounted on hangers that rotate for a more comfortable fit.
The Final UX5000 headphones have an MSRP of 32,800 yen (~$225). Readers can look for them to arrive in the Final store on Amazon.
