Aviot has launched the petite TE-Q3R true wireless earbuds in Japan, with an MSRP of 11,000 yen (~$75) in Lapis Blue, Red Spinel, Black Onyx, Pearl White, Lavender Jade, or Pink Quartz.
The in-ear earphones support high-resolution music playback using the Sony LDAC Bluetooth audio codec. They also support the standard SBC and AAC audio codecs over Bluetooth 5.3 connections to up to eight paired devices, with up to two simultaneous connections. Low-latency gaming mode is also available.
The earbuds incorporate 10 mm drivers that have been tuned with improved highs and a sound profile that best showcases Japanese music according to native Japanese listeners, says Aviot. The TE-Q3R also has a 360-degree spatial audio mode to recreate a more immersive listening experience.
The IPX4-rated earbuds come with four sizes of silicone ear tips along with hybrid active noise cancellation to block out external noise. A Passthrough mode allows users to hear others speaking without needing to remove the earphones. A single MEMS microphone is used for phone calls.
The TE-Q3R earphones have a rated music playback time of up to 11.5 hours between charges (up to 42 hours with the charging case) and a rated call time of up to 5.5 hours between charges. Both the earbuds and case recharge in 1.5 hours, according to the company.
Readers can buy the Aviot TE-Q3R earbuds from the Aviot web store in Japan, which can ship internationally. The company's other earbud offerings are available in the Aviot store on Amazon US.
