Final has released the UX1000 wireless over-ear headphones in Japan.
The UX1000 has a stain-resistant body that utilizes matte black and grey paint specially chosen for their ability to resist stains, sebum (body oil), and fingerprints, according to the company. These models have an MSRP of 7,980 yen (~$50).
A Buzz Rhythm 02 model with a red colorway has been made in collaboration with Nippon TV, the popular Japanese music show's creator. The voice of MC Bakalism and sound effects by singer P syudou have been incorporated into its operation. This model has an MSRP of 9,800 yen (~$60).
The 250-gram (8.8 oz.) headphones incorporate hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) with feedforward and feedback microphones to cancel out external noise during music playback. They also have an ambient mode, passing through external announcements and sounds without needing to remove them.
The Bluetooth 5.4 headphones can connect to up to two audio sources at once, with up to 70 hours of playback time, according to Final. A unique method was developed to compensate for the poor sound tuning inherent to Bluetooth audio transmission, creating sound that is more akin to a live performance while playing music transmitted using SBC or AAC codecs, the company says. The headphones have a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Readers in Japan can order the headphones today from Final's website, while those in America will have to check the Final store on Amazon for stock.
