The Eve V 2020 is an upcoming device touted as a potential Microsoft Surface Pro rival. Its manufacturer has issued a December 2020 "save the date", with strong overtones of an unveiling or statement related to the Tiger Lake 2-in-1 to occur on the date in question. However, nothing is certain as yet.

The Eve V 2020 is a second-gen convertible PC currently being hyped with a "designed with our fans" strategy. Its maker has been maintaining enthusiasm for this device by releasing potential details on its construction, many of which its community can then vote on.

Most recently, these polls have offered different choices of the tablet's internals and display. Now, however, Eve Devices has released a new press campaign hinting at further news to be announced on December 1, 2020. Therefore, one might be inclined to speculate that the V 2020 will be launched on this date.

This might be a leap into the imagination, however, as it seemed the OEM was only just contemplating parts orders on the last occasion we heard from them. Accordingly, it might be more likely that Eve Devices will finally unveil its upcoming flagship PC's design in full on this date, or perhaps even its final specs.

Currently, it is only certain that the Eve V 2020 will be based on Tiger Lake silicon, and, thus, is likely to turn out with Thunderbolt 4. It could also launch with 4K/QHD display options, SSDs that might go up to 2TB and at least 16GB of RAM. It also (obviously) has a keyboard, although its features and possible feature buttons are (again) yet to be locked down at this point.
