Epic Games Store has revealed the next two titles that will be free to claim: Beacon Pines and We Were Here Together. Both games will become available starting August 6, and users will have one week to add them to their libraries.

Epic Games Store users can currently claim OTXO and Sol Cesto for free, and both games will remain available until August 6. In the meantime, the store has confirmed that two new titles will replace them on the same day, giving players another chance to expand their libraries without spending anything.

The first game is Beacon Pines, a story-driven adventure that blends mystery with a charming visual style. You play as Luka, a young boy who begins investigating strange events taking place in the town of Beacon Pines. As the mystery unfolds, you meet new characters, explore different locations, and uncover secrets hidden beneath the town's peaceful appearance.

One of the game's most interesting mechanics is its use of magical word charms. During key moments in the story, you can insert different words into the narrative, completely changing how events play out. These choices create multiple story paths, allowing players to revisit earlier decisions and discover new outcomes.

The second free game is We Were Here Together, a cooperative puzzle adventure designed entirely around teamwork. The game takes place after an emergency flare and distress call leads two explorers into the frozen wilderness of Antarctica. Their rescue mission, however, quickly turns into something much more dangerous after they become trapped inside the mysterious Castle Rock.

Communication plays a big role in We Were Here Together. Each player has a walkie-talkie, and solving puzzles requires carefully describing what you see and listening to your partner. On top of that, because the game is built exclusively for co-op, both players need their own copy, a microphone, and an internet connection.

In any case, both Beacon Pines and We Were Here Together will become free on the Epic Games Store starting August 6, replacing OTXO and Sol Cesto. As with previous weekly giveaways, players will have one week to claim the games and permanently add them to their Epic Games Store library.
