Epic Games Store announces next week's giveaway with two free games

Epic Games Store users can currently claim Foretales for free, which will remain available until July 30. In the meantime, the store has revealed the next titles joining its weekly free games program, which include OTXO and Sol Cesto.

The first free game is OTXO, a stylish top-down action roguelite centered around brutal gunfights and slow-motion combat. Players step into the shoes of a mysterious protagonist who enters a strange mansion in search of a lost loved one. With no memory of how they arrived there, the only goal is to push deeper into the mansion while uncovering its secrets and surviving the dangerous enemies that stand in the way.

Throughout each run, players can unlock a huge selection of weapons and collect more than 100 different abilities to create unique builds. The game also offers plenty of replay value. Every run features a different layout, with over 150 handcrafted rooms spread across eight major areas, ensuring that no two attempts feel exactly the same.

The second title is Sol Cesto, a tactical roguelite that mixes strategy with a healthy dose of randomness. Instead of relying entirely on combat skills, players must carefully manage risk as they descend through a constantly changing underground world in search of the long-lost sun.

Each encounter presents four possible rows to move into, but where your character lands within that row is left to chance. You could find treasure, run into dangerous monsters, or trigger deadly traps. As players progress, they'll collect magical items, powerful abilities, and unusual upgrades such as cursed metal teeth and magical stone teeth that alter game mechanics and improve the odds in their favor. 

That said, both games will be available to claim for free until August 6, after which they’ll get replaced with new titles. If you manage to add them to your library before that, they’ll be yours to keep forever.
