Epic Games Store reveals new free game for next week's giveaway

Epic Games continues its tradition of giving away free PC games every week, allowing users to expand their libraries without spending anything. The store refreshes its giveaway every Thursday, replacing the previous titles with a new selection that players can claim for a limited time.

Right now, Epic Games Store users can grab Echo Generation: Midnight Edition and Luto for free. Both games are available to claim until July 23, giving players plenty of days to add them to their accounts. In the meantime, Epic has also revealed what players can expect from next week's giveaway.

According to the Epic Games Store, Foretales will be available for free starting July 23. The game will remain free to claim until July 30, after which it will be replaced by another weekly giveaway. As always, anyone who claims the game during the promotion will be able to keep it permanently in their Epic Games library.

As for what the game offers, Foretales is a story-driven adventure that combines card-based gameplay with branching narratives, giving players plenty of freedom in how they approach the journey. The gameplay revolves around building and using decks of cards for exploration, conversations, and turn-based battles. 

You play as Volepain, a small-time thief who finds himself at the center of a prophecy that threatens the entire world. As a devastating curse spreads across the realm, every decision you make influences how the story unfolds and ultimately determines the fate of the world. Rather than following a single path, the game offers multiple story routes and endings, encouraging players to replay and explore different choices.
