Epic Games Store: March's penultimate new free game giveaway now available but only for a short time
The Epic Games Store is preparing to update its free game of the week offer, having discounted Mortal Shell from $29.99 to $0.00 since last Thursday. For reference, Mortal Shell and a new World of Warships bundle can still be picked up until 15:00 UTC today.
Once the clock ticks past 14:59 UTC, the storefront will replace Mortal Shell and its latest World of Warships bundle with a recent title from the Jurassic Park universe that typically sells for $59.99 on the Epic Games Store. The game in question is Jurassic World Evolution 2 (curr. $35 on Amazon), which landed in November 2021 on PC, as well as recent PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Set between the fifth and sixth Jurassic Park movies, Jurassic World Evolution 2 centres around constructing and managing your own dinosaur theme park. Please note that the game requires at least 8 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 470 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU to run, plus a CPU like the AMD FX-8370 or Intel Core i5-4590. With that being said, developer and publisher Frontier Developments recommends using a GPU with at least 6 GB of RAM. Please see Epic Games' store listing for more details.
