Black Friday is a few weeks away and it looks like there will be some excellent deals on RTX 4070 laptops. Amazon is ahead of the curve and already offers the Eluktronics RP-15 G2 models with AMD’s Ryzen 7 7840HS and a max TGP RTX 4070 dGPU starting at just US$1,299.95. For this price, the laptop includes 16 GB DDR5-4800 RAM and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage.

There are, however, other configurations that benefit from discounts, as well. The 32 GB RAM version is US$1,399.95, but the best value seems to come with the 64 GB RAM + 2 TB SSD version that costs US$1,499.

All the configurations feature a 15.6-inch IPS display with 1440p resolution, 350-nit brightness, 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut. Port selection does not include a USB4 connector, but it is quite robust with a full-size SD card reader, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB-A 3,2 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1 and mini DP 1.4 video outputs, 1 GbE jack and audio out / mic in jacks.
