Early Xiaomi Redmi 12 retail unit shown before release
Paras Guglani has shared new details about the Redmi 12, a 4G handset that should be available in multiple markets. To recap, Roland Quandt revealed the unreleased device a few days ago by providing various official images showing it in three colour options. Additionally, Quandt outlined various specifications, including the presence of a 90 Hz display and a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset.
Now, Guglani and Newzonly have posted a short hands-on video of the Redmi 12 in its blue colourway, embedded below. As expected, the handset has separate rear-facing camera housings, a flat design and 128 GB of storage. Also, the model number '23053RN02L' is visible, which was last seen in April on the FCC's database.
Reportedly, Xiaomi will officially unveil the Redmi 12 later this month for €199. Both Newzonly and Quandt claim that there will only be three launch colours, which the former believes will be marketed as Midnight Black, Polar Silver and Sky Blue. While it remains to be seen in what markets the Redmi 12 will be available, it will be headed to at least Europe.
