Dyson's HushJet Mini Cool portable bladeless fan arrives just in time for summer

Dyson's latest product is a handheld mini fan designed to beat the heat, and it arrives just in time for summer. Officially known as the Dyson HushJet Mini Cool, it is a bladeless fan that uses a similar technology as Dyson's larger air multiplier fans.

Available in three colors — Ink/Cobalt, Stone/Blush, and Carnelian/Sky — the HushJet Mini Cool has a unique nozzle that projects cool air at a high velocity. The 360° nozzle, which can be twisted for multi-directional airflow, features a honeycombed-mesh that prevents dust and debris from getting inside. It also makes it easy to clean the fan, and is reported to reduce turbulence and noise.

Dyson says the HushJet Mini Cool has five speeds, including a turbo mode with airflow that reaches speeds of up to 55mph. Its 5,000mAh rechargeable battery can provide up to 6 hours of use on a single charge, and a full charge takes up to 3 hours via USB-C.

The HushJet Mini Cool can be used in handheld mode, worn around the neck with a detachable neck dock, or placed on a flat surface using the detachable charging stand. According to the spec sheet, it weighs 0.46lb, which is about 208g.

Dyson has put a price tag of $99.99 on the HushJet Mini Cool, and it is available to buy now. Although only the Stone/Blush color option is currently in stock. It comes with a travel pouch, a neck dock, a charging stand, and a USB-C cable. However, other accessories such as the Grip Clip and Universal Mount are sold separately.

The HushJet Mini Cool will be available in other regions, such as the UK and Europe, but Dyson hasn't announced a release date and the price.
