The Mi 11 Ultra flagship is now finally out for the world to see that Xiaomi is no longer a company that avoids going all the way to the top both specs- and price-wise. In this case, it looks like the new flagship's camera hardware and software are good enough to grab the DxOMark crown from the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+.
The total score of 143 comes after combining a still photo rating of 148, 100 for the zoom performance, and 117 for shooting videos. The detailed scores include 100+ ratings in various essential fields, such as exposure, color, autofocus, and texture for the still photo tests; zoom lens performance of no less than 131; excellent results for exposure, color, noise, and stabilization in the video tests.
The list of tests where the new flagship fails to impress is not long, but includes two areas that might be essential to some potential users, namely the photo artifacts (67 points) and wide lens (just 54 points) tests. For now, all the above should be enough. Unfortunately, the in-depth full review by DxOMark is still in the works, but should go live soon. For our in-depth all-around Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra review, be sure to stay tuned.
