The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 7390 may still have no worldwide release date, but the device is now orderable in China, specifically Dell's Chinese website. The listing, spotted by u/Edoars on Reddit, currently contains five SKUs that range from 12,999 CNY (~US$1,850) to 16,999 CNY (~US$2,419), although Dell is currently offering 1,000 CNY (~US$142) off every XPS 13 2-in-1 7390 purchase.
Model number | CPU | RAM | Storage | Display |
---|---|---|---|---|
R1505TW | Intel Core i5-1035G1 | 8 GB | 256 GB | FHD+ (1080p) touchscreen |
R1705TB | Intel Core i5-1035G1 | 16 GB | 512 GB | FHD+ (1080p) touchscreen |
R1705TW | Intel Core i7-1065G7 | 16 GB | 512 GB | FHD+ (1080p) touchscreen |
R1805TB | Intel Core i7-1065G7 | 16 GB | 512 GB | UHD+ (4K) touchscreen |
R1805TW | Intel Core i7-1065G7 | 16 GB | 512 GB | UHD+ (4K) touchscreen |
We cannot see any difference between the R1805TB and R1805TW, although we cannot select the former to order it. Hence, there currently appears to be a mistake in the listing. However, this does not appear to be a soft or accidental launch by Dell China, with the base model currently featuring on the front page of its website.
Previously, Dell has stated that the XPS 13 2-in-1 7390 would "be available in all regions at the same time" and that the "Core i7-1068G7 will be an option". Understandably, this has left people online confused, with these statements not ringing true with the timing of the Chinese release or the SKUs that have launched. We shall keep you updated with XPS 13 2-in-1 7390 release news as and when we are informed.
