The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 is a solid machine that offers solid value. Yes, it's a bit on the heavy side for a 2-in-1, and we suspect that Dell intends it to be used as a laptop most of the time. Lighter designs generally cost more, thus Dell has the lovely XPS 13 for those who want to travel lighter.

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.1.67 kg:
This weight is typical for very old and big tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 11-13 inch display-diagonal; nowadays, rather typical for 15 inch laptops.
