Deal: Grab the classic racing game FlatOut for free on GOG
FlatOut brings back memories of those LAN parties you had many years ago. The action-packed racing game with spectacular graphics is currently available to play for free on GOG for a short period of time. The freebie is the first part of the game, with the legendary soundtrack of the second part available for purchase.
The goal of the game is not only to cross the finish line first, but to cause as much damage as possible. Players race through a variety of tracks at breakneck speed, ramming their opponents off the road at full throttle. Launched in 2004 for PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, FlatOut is a racing game that features fast action, destructive physics and dark humour.
It offers intense competition with up to eight players or with intelligent cars. The first part of the game features a variety of game modes, such as a single player mode, a short distance mode and a time trial mode. With a total of 48 tracks, including stunt arenas and destruction bowls, players can choose from 16 different, fully upgradeable cars.
FlatOut also features wacky and fun Ragdoll mini-games, as well as open areas where you can take shortcuts to outrun your opponents. With convincing vehicle handling and impressive damage models, FlatOut promises to be an intense racing experience for fans of the genre.
It's not a game for the faint of heart, but for anyone else who enjoys a racing game with that certain something, it's just the ticket. The adrenaline-pumping game is available to play for free on GOG until the 17th of February.
