DJI has just released its first robot vacuum cleaner, which it offers in three variants under the Romo series. Shortly before that, the company launched the Osmo 360 as its debut 360-degree camera to rival the GoPro Max 2 and the Insta360 X5 (curr. $549 on Amazon). Incidentally, Insta360 has now refreshed the X5 too.
With two of DJI's long-rumoured products now out of the door, leaker Igor Bogdanov has now turned to the more mysterious Osmo Nano. Pictured again in new photos, the Osmo Nano could well rival the Insta360 Go Ultra whose launch date remains unconfirmed for the time being. Although specifications still escape leaks for the time being, the Osmo Nano is dominated by a single camera.
In other words, it seems that the Osmo Nano is smaller than DJI's other recent action cameras like the Osmo Action 5 Pro. To that end, the Osmo Nano lacks a front-facing display. Instead, DJI is expected to deliver this functionality via a detachable display element that mimics the form factor of the older Action 2. Currently, Jasper Ellens believes that the Osmo Nano will launch before the end of the summer.
