New details about the Mavic 4 series have emerged online, over four years after DJI released the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine. Until recently, it seemed that DJI would be replacing both directly. In the last few months though, it appeared that the company had a successor to the Mavic 3 Pro (curr. $2,199 on Amazon) in development, which is not even two years old yet.
Based on new rumours, the Mavic 4 Pro will not launch alongside a cheaper Mavic 4. Instead, it looks like the regular Mavic 4 Pro will be joined by a Cine variant. Additionally, the Mavic 4 Pro Cine will be joined by the Mavic 4 Intelligent Flight Battery, which will presumably underpin the Mavic 4 at some stage too. The same image shared on X by @Quadro_News also highlights the impending release of Cellular and RC Pro accessories, as well as a 240 W desktop charger.
Meanwhile, YueYue has shared what DroneXL claims is a 'final product image' of DJI's next high-end consumer drone. While the Mavic 4 Pro's overall design was already known, the new image appears to show the presence of a LiDAR sensor for the first time. According to DroneXL, the Mavic 4 Pro will deliver approximately 50-minute flight times from its Intelligent Flight Battery and could officially launch as soon as April 20.
