Similarly to the Asus ProArt PA147CDV, the new Corsair Xeneon Edge is a 14-inch touchscreen in 32:9 format. This format is said to be perfect for placement under a conventional desktop monitor in order to create additional space for apps and widgets.
The Xeneon Edge offers several advantages compared to the older Asus ProArt monitor. Firstly, the screen edges are much smaller and the resolution is significantly higher at 2,560 x 720. This gives it an impressive pixel density of 183 PPI. Moreover, the touchscreen can not only be placed on a desk with a stand, but also magnetically attached to a PC case or even integrated directly into a tower in place of a 360-millimeter radiator.
Corsair's software offers a wide selection of widgets for displaying system load, weather, calendar, a chat window or a mini-game directly on the touchscreen. The screen can be set up in both portrait and landscape format, and connected to the PC either via HDMI or USB-C. Corsair is yet to confirm other details such as brightness, frame rate or color fidelity.
Price and availability
The Corsair Xeneon Edge secondary monitor is scheduled to be launched in Q2 2025. Details on price are also pending.
