All of the details of the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active have been shared online, including its supposedly confirmed European price tag of €199 (US$220). The new wearable enters a crowded marketplace with a couple of features that might help it stand out from the majority. These include support for Amazon Alexa, dual-band GPS, and all-day “health monitoring”.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen panel and is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It is water-resistant up to 50 m and purportedly offers up to 288 hours (12 days) of battery life. Users will be able to sift through a choice of 200 faces for the smartwatch and enjoy 117 fitness modes. There is compatibility for both Android 6.0 onwards and iOS 10.0 or later, and there is an NFC feature as well.
The official renderings of the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active have been leaked before but this time around there is a more detailed look at the individual SKUs. SpO2 measurement is also expected to be onboard, and Xiaomi might even release the Watch S1 Active at a temporarily reduced price, with rumors of a possible €149.99 (US$166) price tag making the smartwatch a more attractive proposition.
