The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max are now over a month old, having debuted simultaneously on September 25. Shortly afterwards, evidence emerged showcasing that the Xiaomi 17 would launch globally with a smaller battery capacity than its Chinese counterpart we have since reviewed. Incidentally, the same was case earlier this year with the global version of the Xiaomi 15 (curr. $902 on Amazon).
Now, what appears to be the global version of the Xiaomi 17 has turned up on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) public database in Singapore. Specifically, the regulatory body has certified '25113PN0EG', as the picture below shows. Based on Xiaomi's model number nomenclature, 25113PN0EG should be the global version of 25113PN0EC, a model number assigned to the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 17.
Unfortunately, there have been no sightings of the Xiaomi 17 Pro or Xiaomi 17 Pro Max outside China yet. Typically, Xiaomi would certify these around the same time, as has been the case with the Redmi Note 15 4G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G. By contrast, details about the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra have already appeared online. As a result, it seems that Xiaomi may only officially offer the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, just as various sources indicated could happen.
