We recently covered leaks pointing to the Realme C85 Pro coming with a massive 7,000mAh battery and a high IP69 dust and water resistance rating. Now, new hands-on images and a leaked video of the phone have surfaced, giving us a much better look at the device and confirming some of those early specs.
The new images and video show the phone will be available in black, green, and purple. While the camera island on the back looks similar to the C75, Realme has updated the rear panel with a new texture. A new addition is a ring light housed within the camera module, though its specific function, such as whether it works for notifications, is still unclear. Up front, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, which some reports suggest could reach an impressive peak brightness of 4,000 nits.
The main selling point remains that enormous 7,000mAh battery, which Realme has officially confirmed. This is a 1,000mAh increase over the C75's battery. Certification listings show this battery will support 45W fast charging to fill it up. Internally, the C85 Pro will reportedly run on the 6nm Snapdragon 685 chipset, a notable upgrade over the 12nm-based MediaTek Helio G92 Max used in the C75 4G.
This will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is worth noting that the Snapdragon 685 is a 4G-only chipset, which could be a limitation for you depending on your market. However, for regions where 5G is not widespread, this phone could be a very practical fit. Leaks also suggest it will run on Android 15. For the cameras, the phone has a 50MP main camera paired with a second, unspecified sensor. The hands-on video confirms 1x and 2x zoom options, which also indicate the phone will not have an ultrawide camera, just like its predecessor. The C85 Pro seems to be rolling out quietly in multiple markets, so we expect full specifications and official pricing to become available very soon.
