Realme probably doesn’t belong to the most well-known brands in most regions, at least compared to Apple and Samsung. However, various Realme products are available in Europe and many other markets around the world. The company is now preparing to launch the Realme C85 series. Complete specifications are not yet available, but the smartphone maker has already announced a few noteworthy details about its upcoming handset.
Realme confirms large battery
For instance, Realme Vietnam has confirmed that the C85 Pro will have a battery capacity of 7,000mAh. Supposedly, the smartphone lasts two days on a full charge, but actual real-world runtimes will heavily depend on the specific use case. That being said, 7,000mAh of battery capacity are above average for non-rugged phones. Additionally, the AMOLED screen will offer a peak brightness of 4,000 nits.
Realme C85 Pro sports IP69 certification
The Realme C85 Pro will apparently support 45W fast charging and sport an IP69 certification, which indicates a certain degree of protection against damage caused by dust and water, and it should also offer some drop resistance. According to one certification, the Realme C85 5G (not necessarily the Pro version) will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300. More details regarding the official launch date and list price are not available just yet.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
