Casio reveals new G-Shock DW6900BI24-1 watch with five year battery life

The Casio G-Shock DW6900BI24-1 watch has appeared on the brand’s US website. This wearable is a collaboration with Baseballism, an American baseball lifestyle brand. The design of the product features many nods to the sport.

At the top of the DW6900BI24-1’s watch face is a miniature baseball player, and there is a diamond theme across the gold watch face and black strap. The watch also features the Baseballism logo and comes in a tin. The 6900 series wearable has typical features, like a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms and hourly time signals. The blue Super Illuminator backlight is helpful in low lighting and is water resistant to 200m. Plus, the shock resistant watch is expected to run for five years on a CR2016 battery.

The Casio G-Shock DW6900BI24-1 watch launched on December 12th at the online Baseballism store and quickly sold out. However, the wearable will go on sale at Casio’s online store on December 16th in the US. The watch is priced at $150, putting it in the middle of the 6900 Series. Other models like the G-Shock DW6900-1V watch are cheaper, currently available for $50.97 at Amazon. It does not appear that the model will roll out to other markets.
