CTL's latest Chromebook is powered by the Intel Celeron N4020 and has 4GB of RAM, as many of the OEM's devices do. However, the NL71CT-LTE also has standalone mobile data, so it need not be reliant on Wi-Fi for its often educational use-cases. This spec has helped win it one of Tech & Learning's Excellence Awards for Best Remote & Blended Learning Tools.

CTL's latest Chromebook has Gigabit Wi-Fi thanks to its Intel Gemini Lake platform. However, it also supports 4G/LTE for potentially uninterrupted use while studying or attending remote classes. The NL71CT-LTE is also rated for up to 12 hours of battery life and 22 days of stand-by time, thereby reducing time tethered to the wall while doing the same.

The CTL NL71CT-LTE also comes with a HD webcam that can be adjusted through 180 degrees, which may allow for a range of ideal conferencing positions. Besides that, the 11.6-inch HD touchscreen device has a water- and peel-resistant keyboard, a shock-proof chassia and 70-meter drop-resistance.

Besides that, the CTL NL71CT-LTE has Bluetooth 5.0, a carry handle and the reinforced ports seen in many other Chromebooks from its OEM. All this has contributed to its recognition from the body Tech & Learning as one of the best 2021 devices for US grades 6 to 12. It is available from now directly from its maker's website, or from Verizon with a carrier plan.
