Every so often, rumors of a Bloodborne remaster being in the works pop up, only to be proven false a short while later. A new piece of information indicates the dream of many fans of the original title could soon come true.

Game studio FromSoftware has built quite a reputation for itself, with Bloodborne playing an instrumental role in that. Some fans have been clamoring for a remaster of the iconic 2015 game and every time hints of that happening appeared online, it would send shockwaves through the community.

The fact is that a remaster has not materialised yet; not even a free HD upgrade for the PS5 has been presented.

According to a recent report by PlayStation Lifestyle, a reward for the game's DLC, The Old Hunters, was listed on PlayStation Stars, Sony's reward platform announced at State of Play around two years ago. The DLC in question supposedly was developed for PS5. This listing is a lot more likely to be just an error or a prank rather than something substantial but if it is valid meaning a remaster or even a remake is on the cards, further details will probably become available soon.

Bungie is an American game studio that was established in 1991 and is currently owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
