Best Buy to sell "world's most powerful RTX 5090 laptop" the Eurocom Raptor X18 beginning April 5
Eurocom has announced today that its upcoming Raptor X18 flagship laptop with GeForce RTX 5090 graphics will be available through Best Buy this April. Eurocom normally does not sell its products through major brick-and-mortar retailers and so its partnership with Best Buy for this upcoming generation of GeForce RTX 50 laptops is particularly noteworthy.
The Raptor X18 can already be configured online through the manufacturer website with all the detailed specifications on show including the Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 18-inch 2400p display, and either RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 graphics. Expect to pay between $4500 and $5000 USD depending on the configuration.
The Eurocom machine won't be the only system available with the Nvidia Blackwell GPU. Other major manufacturers are also expected to launch their next generation of gaming laptops beginning later this month including the vaunted Razer Blade 16. The Raptor X18, however, is set to be one of the largest laptops of them all with an RTX 5090 option available from the get-go.
One of the things for the reader to keep in mind is that Eurocom does not normally design its laptops on its own - rather, it purchases systems designed by companies like Clevo and Tongfang. Therefore, don't be surprised if you spot a laptop looking suspiciously like the X18 in other companies' catalogs, such as Eluktronics or Schenker.
