Nvidia made the RTX 50 series GPUs official at CES 2025, and the desktop versions are set to be available on January 30. As for the laptop GPUs, they are set to be available in March, but Best Buy has already listed multiple gaming laptops featuring the new GPUs.
As spotted by X user @Momomo_us, the retailer has put up nine of the gaming laptops that are powered by the RTX 50 series GPUs. Among them, eight are from Asus, and one is from HP. The most affordable option from the bunch happens to be the ROG Strix G16, which is powered by the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti and AMD "Ryzen 9 HX" CPU. Its listing doesn't specify the CPU, but the gaming laptop is listed at $1,899.99.
A slightly pricier option that's currently listed on Best Buy is the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, which packs the Nvidia RTX 5070 and Lunar Lake Intel Core Ultra 9. Again, there is no specific info about the CPU, but it's listed at $1,999.99. Among all the others, the pricey option that's currently listed is the ROG Strix Scar 18.
The listed configuration of that gaming laptop features the Nvidia RTX 5090 and Intel Core Ultra 9 HX. It's currently listed on Best Buy at $4,199.99. There are other options in the middle, and as for the HP model, it's the Omen Max 16, and the listed configuration has the RTX 5080 and Core Ultra 9 275HX. It's listed at $2,699.99.
Note that none of the listed gaming laptops are currently available to purchase. Best Buy has put up a "coming soon" banner for all of them, and this will likely be lifted in March.
