Beelink launches Mate Pro dock with 80Gbps USB4 and 32TB storage support

Beelink has launched a performance-focused dock in China, the Mate Pro. The headlining feature of the expansion accessory is the two USB4 v2 ports. These are rated for 80Gbps transfers, and with daisy-chaining capability, users can even connect the dock with an eGPU with one port while the other is connected to a host PC.
Another key highlight of the dock is the four M.2 slots, which can hold a total of 32TB of storage. Beelink notes that these are PCIe 4.0 x1 slots and claims that the dock can offer a read speed of 1,655MB/s with the write speed reaching 1,586MB/s.
There's support for 96W PD, which means that the dock can charge the connected host while being connected to other peripherals (6-feet 240W Anker Nano cable curr. $16.99 on Amazon). This fast charging ability is backed by a 140W built-in PSU, and to get the dock up and running, it needs to be connected to an AC source.
That said, the two 80Gbps USB4 ports aren't the only I/O option that this dock has to offer. In addition to those, the Mate Pro has the following:
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.0 Type-A
- 1x HDMI
- 1x 2.5G LAN
The dock also has Bluetooth connectivity, which is for the built-in speaker. Beelink says that there is a built-in DSP and an amplifier to ensure good audio quality during meetings and music playback. Audio can be played in the wired mode as well, but in that case, it's through the connected PC. It even has a fan to keep the internals cool.
While this dock has a lot going for it, the launch price is relatively affordable. Beelink has launched it in China with a tag of CNY 1,059, about $155. Given that the company sells most of its products in the global market, the Mate Pro is expected to make an international debut soon.
