Deal | PS5 just got a huge $200 discount on the official PlayStation Store

Last month, Sony announced price increases for several of its products, including the PS5, PS5 Pro, and PS Portal. These changes were linked to the ongoing memory crisis, which has pushed the cost of key components much higher. However, if you’ve been planning to pick up the PS5, there’s some good news.

If you head over to the official PlayStation Store, you’ll find the PS5 Slim Digital Edition - Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle listed at a heavily discounted price. Previously, the bundle was selling for $599, but Sony has knocked $200 off the price, bringing it down to $399. Before the price hike, this same model was priced at $499, so you are still getting it for $100 less than its old standard price. 

It’s important to keep in mind that this version of the PS5 does not come with a disc drive, as it is the digital edition. That means you’ll need to download games instead of using physical discs. However, if you want to add a disc drive later, you can buy one separately for $79.99.

The bundle also includes several in-game items for Fortnite, including 1,000 V-Bucks, the Blue Blossoms Wrap, Floral Finisher Pickaxe, Florin Outfit, Blossom Backpack Back Bling, Petal’s Edge Guitar, Blue Bloom Mic, and Petal Steppers Kicks.
