Beats Studio Buds: Leaked images show Apple's US$149.99 earbuds in three new colours
Apple has been selling the Beats Studio Buds in three colours since last summer, with black, red and white colourways available since the earbuds launched. However, WinFuture has outlined that Apple will soon offer another three colourways billed as 'Moonlight Grey', 'Ocean Blue' and 'Sunset Pink'. For reference, Apple also gave the iPhone 13 series a mid-generation refresh when it announced the Studio Display and Mac Studio.
As always, Apple has given the Beats logo a colour contrasting finish and has matched the outside of the charging case to the earbuds. For some reason, Apple has decided to paint the inside of Sunset Pink's charging case a shade of lilac, while Moonlight Grey and Ocean Blue contain different grey and blue hues, instead.
Fundamentally, these refreshes are cosmetic. According to WinFuture, Apple has made no hardware changes, meaning that the three colours will have IPX4 water resistance, 'Hey Siri' functionality and a US$149.99 price tag. All Beats Studio Buds should last up to 8 hours of use between charges too, but only with active noise cancellation (ANC) disabled. WinFuture has not revealed when Apple will launch the new colour options, but the appearance of marketing renders suggests that Moonlight Grey, Ocean Blue and Sunset Pink are close to hitting the shelves.
