New players can now live out the entire Battlefield 6 All-Out Warfare experience for one week free of charge, including a selection of representative maps and modes. The focus is on the recently released Eastwood map, which has battles playing out in sunny Southern California. Alongside heavy military equipment such as tanks and attack helicopters, golf carts also make an appearance. While these vehicles aren't tanks, they are nimble. Anyone needing to make a quick getaway can hop into a golf cart, which is guaranteed to elicit some dumbfounded looks from the enemy as you zip past their front line.
EA is celebrating its best launch ever for the series. Figures from GfK and the German Games Industry Association (game) have confirmed over 600,000 sales in October in Germany alone. This success is also reflected in the Game Awards nominations, as BF6 could win 'Best Multiplayer', 'Best Action' or 'Best Audio Design'. Interested players can take a look at a new trailer for the free trial. Furthermore, the REDSEC battle royale mode is also included, which is now a permanent part of the package.
Anyone who gets hooked after the trial week can continue playing and their progress will be saved. You can choose between the Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition. The latter includes the exclusive Phantom Squad Pack, which contains skins to give your squad a uniform look. It also includes two weapon setups that are unlocked immediately, plus skins for vehicles and the knife. The Battlefield Pro token is also important, which unlocks the premium track in the Battle Pass, allowing you to jump 25 ranks. Moreover, XP boosters and cosmetic items are included.
The game is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, regardless of whether you use Steam, the EA App or the Epic Games Store. In any case, if you want to play online, you'll have to download and install the latest patches.
