Batman is an iconic hero of literary, cinematic and videogame culture. And many games have been released in recent years, highlighting the famous Dark Knight. But there is one that stood out from the crowd and it is Batman: Arkham Knight. And recently, this title has been updated with a unique HD texture pack.
It must be said that this game, released in 2015, has received very positive feedback and many players loved their experience, as can be seen on Metacritic. Thus, faced with such success, several people wanted to give it a new face, notably by improving the graphics.
As a result, GPUnity, with the help of several other modders like Neato, Mr. Binks and Ranger, wanted to improve the visual rendering of this game by modifying the original textures. And to carry out this project, they used upscaling techniques and completely modified some aging textures.
Thus, thanks to their hard work, they managed to bring Batman: Arkham Knight back to life. It must be said that the result is magnificent with sharper backgrounds, resplendent costumes and streets of Gotham City that are closer to reality.
Therefore, it is a second youth that has been given to a game that was a huge success on consoles. However, on PC it was another story. Indeed, the game had to benefit from several patches to be playable and it is today very appreciated by players, as it is possible to see on Steam with 88% of positive reviews.
If you want to try this HD texture pack, it is available for free on Nexus Mod. And needless to say that it will be a good opportunity to dive again into the dark and tormented streets of Gotham City and track down and catch the villains who are causing chaos.
