The Gazelle Eclipse e-bike series has been revealed in Europe, introducing the C380 and T11 HMB models. The new e-bikes are powered by a mid-mounted Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivering up to 85 Nm torque. Plus, a 750 Wh battery allows you to travel with assistance for up to 135 km (~84 miles).
There are several differences between the C380 and T11 models. Firstly, the C380 has an Enviolo Trekking Manual stepless gear system, while the T11 uses an 11-speed Shimano Deore XT. On average, the C380 weighs 28.3 kg (~62.4 lbs) and the T11 27.2 kg (~60.0 lbs). The models also come in different colors, with Anthracite Gray or Metallic Orange offered for the C380 and Anthracite Gray or Thyme Green available for the T11; you can choose step-through or stepover frames for both bikes.
The new Gazelle e-bikes have a front lockout suspension fork with 75 mm travel and 60 mm (~2.4-in) wide 27.5-in Schwalbe tires for extra grip on or off-road. A Bosch Kiox 300 display shows information such as your speed and distance travelled, and you can view further journey statistics in the accompanying Gazelle Connect app. Other features include hydraulic disc brakes and a GPS sensor, helping you recover your bike if lost or stolen. The electric bicycles come with a one-year damage insurance policy, and the Eclipse C380 HMB has also won a 2023 iF Design award. You can now buy the Gazelle Eclipse C380 and T11 HMB e-bikes in Europe for €5,999/£5,498 and €5,499/£4,998, respectively.
