FREEDARE shot to prominence on the e-mobility Indiegogo scene with its "World's First Smart Fat Tire E-bike" in mid-2023. Now, the vehicles in question have gone to retail via the OEM's new online (US-only) retail store, which is currently holding a sale to mark this event. It supports codes that take as much as US$400 off the price of the bike's step-through and step-over variants for a limited time.

FREEDARE accrued over US$250,000 worth of backing in total during its tenure on Indiegogo, and has thus been able to afford to move its e-bike concern off that platform and onto its own website. It is celebrating this achievement with time-sensitive discounts on the 2-wheeler in question.

It is now sold as either the FD Eden (step-through) or FD Saiga MTB (step-over) on freedare.com, with 2-year warranties, "free shipping" to 48 states and "14-hour customer service". Both variants have the same "all-terrain" tires; smart "4G" anti-theft/GPS tracking features powered by Qualcomm (which might entail an extra subscription); an estimated 90-mile range and 28mph top speed, as well as the recommended retail price of US$1,799.

FREEDARE'S new online store is currently advertising a "New Release Exclusive Offer" by which a user can take US$300 off those prices with the code NEWORDER. However, the OEM has also released a second "follower's" code, FDPERKFORU, which knocks another US$100 off the bikes' full price. Either offer is valid from now until September 19, 2023.
