Decathlon Elops LD 920 e-bike will shortly go on sale in the EU
The Decathlon Elops LD 920 e-bike has arrived in high frame (stepover) and low frame (step-through) models. The new bikes have a fully automatic transmission, meaning you do not need to shift gears manually. The electric bicycles have a 250W motor from OWURU which can deliver 65Nm of torque and 600W peak power. You can choose an assistance mode and pedalling cadence, between 40 and 90 RPM, to suit you and integrated sensors help to make the assistance feel more natural.
The Elops LD 920 has a 702Wh Samsung battery, allowing you to travel up to 150 km (~93 miles) on a single charge. You can connect your smartphone to the e-bike via Bluetooth, enabling features like location tracking, which could be used if your bike is stolen. A built-in color screen shows information such as your speed and remaining range, and it has a USB-C charging port which you can use to power your phone on the go. The 6061 aluminum framed e-bike is fitted with lights and reflective strips on the tires to help you to see and be seen in low lighting.
Other features include B'TWIN by TEKTRO AIR280 hydraulic disc brakes and a luggage rack for up to 27 kg (~60 lbs) load. The bicycle is available in three sizes, from small to large, with the large model weighing 26.5 kg (~58 lbs). You will shortly be able to buy the Decathlon Elops LD 920 high frame and low frame e-bikes in EU countries like France and the Netherlands for €2,999.99 (~US$3,296); the product is currently out of stock online.
