Available for a little over a year, the Asus ROG Cetra TWS earbuds target gamers and now are at the lowest price ever. Advertised as the lowest price in 30 days by Amazon, the discounted US$74.99 price tag is also the best one of this product so far. According to Camelcamelcamel, the Asus ROG Cetra TWS gaming earbuds have a US$90.75 average price based on the last 39 changes and managed to peak at US$114.99 on June 21. The aforementioned deal applies to the black version only, since the white Asus ROG Cetra currently goes for US$79.99 (thanks to a 20% discount, instead of 25%).
Equipped with hybrid ANC and low-latency audio connectivity, these earbuds feature up to 27 hours of total battery life, as well as wireless charging (a USB cable can be used to charge the case too if needed, obviously). The 10 mm drivers used in these earbuds are specially tuned Asus Essence ones, while IPX4 water resistance is also present in the features list alongside airtight chambers that accommodate the drivers mentioned above.
Although the Asus ROG Cetra works without the mobile app companion, that piece of code that goes by as Armoury Crate is definitely worth a try. Its capabilities include Virtual Surround Sound, equalizer presets management and editing, a low-latency Gaming Mode, and more. Sadly, a USB dongle is not available to ensure a solid, low-latency connection.
