Asus ExpertCenter PN65 mini PC with Intel Core Ultra 7 becomes available to purchase
First teased during Computex 2023 and later unveiled in January this year, the Intel Meteor Lake-powered Asus ExpertCenter PN65 is now available for purchase in the US. While the mini PC comes in two variants, the US market seems only to get the computer with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H configuration for now.
The mini PC became available in the Chinese market in late March, with the Core Ultra 7 155H variant being listed at CNY 6,199, about $856. As for the price in the US, it is lower than in China, priced at $759 on the official store. It’s likely a barebone variant, as the company doesn’t mention anything about included memory or storage on the website. Asus has yet to make the Core Ultra 5 125H variant available in the US market.
In case you missed our original launch coverage, the ExpertCenter PN65 stands as a powerful mini PC that’s great for many applications. Asus highlights it for AI computations, as the Intel Meteor Lake processors made a push with its NPU. But the tiny computer is also a decent pick for productivity and office work.
Besides, the design of the Asus ExpertCenter PN65 makes upgrades easy. It allows tool-less M.2 PCIe SSD installation. On that note, it features two M.2 slots that can hold PCIe 4.0 SSDs (1 TB Samsung Evo 990 curr. $79.99 on Amazon). There are a good number of connectivity ports on the mini computer too. Among them are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 2.0 Type-A, and two HDMI ports.
For wireless connectivity, the ExpertCenter PN65 has support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Other highlights of this Asus mini PC include two SODIMM slots with support for up to 48 GB of DDR5 RAM, a compact form factor, and support for VESA mount.
