If you want an M3 MacBook Pro but couldn't catch a good deal, you may want to check Apple's refurbished store.
The MacBook maker is now selling refurbished models of all variants of the M3 MacBook Pro. In other words, buyers can snag a refurbished MacBook Pro with either an M3, M3 Pro, or M3 Max chip.
Since the MacBooks are refurbished, they are sold at a fairly decent discount (usually about 15%). However, Apple offers the same 1-year warranty on both new and refurbished units, and refurbished Apple devices also qualify for AppleCare.
Prices for a refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip (8-core CPU, 10-core GPU), 8 GB of unified RAM, and a 512 GB SSD start at $1359, which is $240 (15%) off its MSRP of $1599. The highest end M3 MacBook Pro currently available in the refurbished store packs a 16-inch screen, a 14-core M3 Max (w/ 30-core GPU), 36 GB of unified memory, and a 1 TB SSD, priced at $2969, or $530 (15.14%) off its MSRP of $3499.
The M3 lineup was announced on Monday, October 30 last year, meaning it took roughly 3.5 months for refurbished MacBook Pros sporting the new chip to show up in Apple's refurbished store.
