Deal | Apple Studio Display crashes to record-low price on Amazon

The Apple Studio Display has dropped to its record-low price on Amazon. It's currently available for $1,299.99, which is a generous $300 discount from the regular price tag of $1,599.99. While it's possible to get a good monitor for much cheaper, discounts such as this one are very rare for this display.

As we covered in our in-depth review, the Studio Display is capable of reproducing razor-sharp and brilliant images. However, the monitor doesn't have support for HDR, which is a bummer considering the high price tag. On the bright side, the IPS panel can offer up to 600 nits of brightness accompanied by a high black level.

In addition, we found that the Apple Studio Display can almost cover the entire DCI-P3 color space. This, combined with the 5K resolution, makes the monitor great for content creation. While the display also excelled in our response time test, the lack of a high refresh rate makes it an average option for playing games. But again, Apple didn't design it to be a gaming monitor to begin with.

Besides that, the Apple Studio Display features a 12 MP webcam, which is an ultra-wide angle sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It has the Center Stage feature and a three-microphone array, making the camera well-suited for calls with FaceTime and other video calling apps. In our tests, we found that the webcam and microphones can offer good overall performance.

Another notable feature of the Studio Display is that it comes with a six-speaker sound system. It brings support for Spatial Audio. Other highlights include three USB-C ports on the back, one Thunderbolt 3 port with 96W power delivery support, and a configurable stand. You can learn more from the video attached below.
