Apple now selling refurbished iPhone 16 (Pro) models

The Apple Online Store is now selling refurbished iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, available in a choice of colors and storage capacities. While Apple's refurbished products usually look like new, the prices are still very high.

The Apple Online Store now offers refurbished iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro (Max). Apple goes further than most other retailers when refurbishing these used smartphones, replacing not only the battery but also the housing. This means a refurbished iPhone from the Apple Store should show no signs of wear.

Customers who purchase a refurbished iPhone from Apple receive the same one-year warranty as with a new iPhone, as well as the same original accessories. Only the packaging differs from a new smartphone, as refurbished products from Apple are delivered in a simple, white box. Apple currently offers the following refurbished iPhone 16 models:

Apple iPhone 16

  • 128 GB: $619
  • 256 GB: $699
  • 512 GB: $869

Apple iPhone 16 Pro

  • 128 GB: $759
  • 512 GB: $1,019

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max

  • 1 TB: $1,269


Some of these models can be found cheaper as refurbished devices elsewhere. For example, an iPhone 16 in "Excellent" condition with 128 GB of storage can be purchased from Black Market for $574, $45 cheaper than Apple's refurbished equivalent.
