The release of the iPhone 14 series may be six months away, but rumours about all models continue to circulate. As we have discussed separately, Apple is expected to equip the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with USB 3.0-capable Lightning connectors. Also, dummy units have leaked on Chinese social media, which we have embedded below. Please note, the authenticity of these dummy units has not been confirmed, so we would recommend exercising caution for the time being.
Still, the designs shown tally with previous leaks, including that there will be no iPhone 14 mini. Instead, the iPhone 14 will take the mini's place as Apple's smallest flagship iPhone. Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 14 retains the rear design of its predecessor, also reflected in the so-called iPhone 14 Max. Additionally, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max appear to have the same sized camera lenses as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini.
Separately, the dummy units emphasise the thickness of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max's camera housings. Ultimately, it may be difficult to tell either iPhone from their predecessors by their rear designs alone. Reputedly, both models will launch with a new 48 MP primary camera though, a significant upgrade on the 12 MP sensor in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
