Apple iPhone 14 series front panels leak showing display differences between the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max and the notch-less iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
A photo showing front panels of the entire iPhone 14 series has emerged on Chinese social media. Shared on Weibo before making its way to Twitter and into a video published by Jon Prosser, the photo highlights not only the size differences of this year's iPhones, but also their front-facing and Face ID layouts.
Unsurprisingly, the image's most eye-catching element is the dual punch-holes of the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. As previous leaks have shown, this year's Pro and Pro Max will eschew the notch in favour of punch holes in their displays, a feature that has become common among Android smartphones in the last few years.
Seemingly on the path towards under-panel cameras and sensors, the dual punch holes sit a fair bit lower than the notches on the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max. Also, it appears that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have rounder corners than their non-Pro counterparts. Similarly, the image suggests that Pro models have slightly slimmer bezels too, much like the iPhone 13 mini does when compared to the iPhone 13.
Separately, @VNchocoTaco has suggested that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max have slightly narrower notches than those on the iPhone 13 series. Meanwhile, @SaranByte asserts the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have 19.5:9 aspect ratios as well, a minor change from the 20:9 aspect ratio that Apple has utilised for recent iPhones.
