Apple iPhone 13 Pro CAD renders reveal many similarities with the current iPhone 12 Pro
While EverythingApplePro and MacRumors got their hands on iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 mini CAD renders, 91Mobiles has provided a first look at what it believes is the iPhone 13 Pro. Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 13 Pro resembles the iPhone 12 Pro, albeit with a few tweaks. The iPhone's front design has been around since 2017, so it should be high time for Apple to give it a refresh.
However, the renders published by 91Mobiles show that that is not really the case. The iPhone 13 Pro retains the infamous iPhone notch, which has graced Apple's flagships since the iPhone X. Apple has shrunk the notch this year, although not necessarily by changing up the camera hardware that sits within the current notch. Instead, 91Mobiles asserts that Apple has simply moved the earpiece above the notch, as many other smartphone manufacturers have done in the last few years.
91Mobiles claims to have been informed that the iPhone 13 Pro will also have a 6.1-inch display, matching the iPhone 12 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro will 0.2 mm thicker though, on account of its larger battery. In short, the iPhone 13 Pro will be virtually indistinguishable from last year's model. Thankfully, other upgrades are expected, including the obligatory SoC upgrade. Reportedly, Apple plans to bring high-refresh-rate displays to the iPhone 13 series, too.
