The first supposed prototype of an iPhone 13 has leaked. Multiple CAD renders have already revealed what Apple's iPhone 13 series will look like, which boils down to a smaller notch and a thicker camera module. Apple has managed the former by moving the earpiece out of the notch to the frame, as many other smartphone manufacturers have in recent years.
It is unclear if the prototype shown is a working model or not, nor could we verify its authenticity. Hence, we would recommend treating it with some scepticism for the time being, as Apple could change its design between now and when the iPhone 13 series enter mass production.
Nonetheless, the prototype's camera design matches what EverythingApplePro showed last week. As far as we can, Apple has increased the size of the two camera modules while retaining the same flash module. For some reason, Apple has arranged these cameras diagonally rather than vertically, perhaps as a way for people to distinguish the iPhone 13 mini from its predecessor. According to Ming Chi-Kuo, poor iPhone 12 mini sales could make this year's model Apple's last for a while. Regardless, Apple is due to announce the iPhone 13 mini and the rest of the iPhone 13 series in September.
