Another round of new free games spotted on Steam

Steam has a growing collection of games, with the platform seeing major game launches every now and then. Besides the AAA titles, Steam is also known for having hundreds of free games, and throughout last month, April 2025, a good number of newly released freebies were spotted. Now, even more have been discovered. Here's more information about some of them:

• GOO-B3-R - described as an old-school 3D puzzle platformer with fun-filled levels. This free game became available on Steam on April 24, and it currently has a "Positive" player rating.
• Darkest Days - said to be a zombie-shooting RPG that puts players through a post-apocalyptic world that's devastated by a sudden zombie outbreak. This free game became available on April 24 and currently has a "Mixed" rating.
• Clockwork Sword - an isometric hack-and-slash with deep weapon customization challenging waves of enemies. It launched on Steam as a free game on April 22 and currently has a "Mostly Positive" player rating.
• Mastermind - a horror survival title with elements from strategy games. This freebie became available on Steam on April 23 and currently has no player rating.
• Operation : Escape - said to be a 2D top-down shooter with distinct types of enemies. This free game became available on Steam on April 27, and it doesn't have a player rating yet.
• When the Crow Sings - described as an adventure mystery title with a heavy focus on exploration and building. It launched on Steam as a free game on April 24, and it doesn't have an official player rating yet.
• Invention 8 - a small indie shooter that makes players solve puzzles while shooting down post-apocalyptic monsters. This free game became available on Steam on April 22 and currently has no player rating.
• Camilla - described as a Pac-Man-type running simulation that makes players venture through maze-like cities and buildings. It became available on Steam as a free game on April 22 and doesn't have an official player rating yet.
• Sharpshooter - an FPS entry with procedurally generated towns. It lets players customize the gameplay mechanics to suit their playstyle. This freebie launched on Steam on April 23, and it currently has a "Positive" player rating.
• Fallen Vestige - categorized as an action-adventure title where players are tasked to save the human race by fighting against post-apocalyptic creatures. It became available on Steam as a free game on April 25 and currently has no rating.
